Hi, I'm Jon. I live on Mayne Island in British Columbia in Canada. I tend to travel a bit, and when I do, I take pictures. So far, my favourite trips have been the Dominican Republic, Venice Italy and Ponta Delgada in the Azores.

I've also been known to write on occasion, and I'd really like to do more of that. By day, I work in quality for various startup/tech companies (most recently at Automattic). I've also been known to engage in the occasional bout of leadership/coaching and educate/evangelize for technology that I feel passionate about. I'm relaunching Flyingtroll.com, which has been my personal blog to give me a fresh start and focus more on a balance of work and life.

Yup, that means that a lot of my archives are gone now. I've included the photos from recent trips I've taken, but basically said goodbye to everything else. I kept an archive of it from my old WordPress blog, but there's a slim chance that it will ever see the light of day again. To new beginnings!
